City to homeowner: Let us in, or get out
This guy is doing what most of us would do. He is resisting an Unconstitutional law. Just because you want
to make some money, as in have an income for your assets, it does not mean you check your Freedom,
Liberty and your rights at the government door.
Government has no right to inspect your home without just cause and just because you own a duplex and rent
out one side does not mean the government now has the right to come into your home unannounced without
a warrant.
That would be against the 4th amendment of the Constitution of the United States which, by the way, does
apply to local government as well as the Federal government.
This has huge implications that could open the door for your private property to be subject to government
inspection without just cause at any time they deem necessary.
